Congratulations Mamma! You are taking part in the miracle of life and growing a tiny human inside of you and there’s no better way to capture your glowing image than with an artistic photo shoot. Many times you won’t feel that amazing, but my job is to make you look and feel gorgeous throughout the span of our session – and to treasure that unforgettable moment for life.
For studio sessions I’m always looking for an artistically minimalist result, portraying editorial looks, elegant B&W silhouettes, tasteful nudes and the sweet connection of the expectant mom and her soon-to-be baby in her belly. The bond with the daddy and siblings is also built as an added layer to this relationship. When shooting outdoors I like having nature or Virginia landscapes act as a background and let the light sculpt the scene. A variety of gowns and fabrics are available for use during studio sessions. Once your session is booked, you will receive a Preparation Guide with lots of tips on how to prepare for your session.
Moms are encouraged to wait for their bumps to be perfectly pronounced. The best time is around 28-34 weeks for single babies and a tad bit earlier for moms carrying multiples.
